What's the best way to make Cinchona coffee?
 

For each 6 ounces of filtered cold water we recommend 2 level teaspoons of coffee. You can adjust the amount of coffee to suite your taste. Brew about 5 minutes.
What are the ingredients in your DeLuxe® Fruitcake?
  Ingredients: pecans, cherries, corn syrup, sugar, flour, pine-apple, raisins, eggs, invert sugar, honey, liquid soybean oil & hydrogenated soybean oil, papaya, water, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup solids, orange peel, natural and artificial flavor, sulphur dioxide, red #40, blue #1, tumeric (color)

What are your shipping charges and time in transit?
  Standard shipping fees are included in the GBP prices.  In the U.K. and the U.S., allow 7 to 14 working days.  All other countries, allow 2 to 6 weeks for delivery.
 

 

How do you "Doctor" the DeLuxe® Fruitcake?
             We recommend a good Cognac, Brandy, Red Wine or Port be used. Simply soak a clean white cheese cloth in the spirit of your choice then remove the cello wrap from your DeLuxe® and place the cloth completely around the cake. Make sure to fill the center hole with part of the well soaked cloth.
Place the "Doctored" DeLuxe® back in the tin and refrigerate. After about 5 days remove and re-soak the cheese cloth with special interest on the part in center of cake. Repeat every 5 days keep tasting until it's just right. Happy Sampling!

How do you store the DeLuxe® and what's the correct way to slice it?
           The most convenient way is to order your fruitcake presliced!  The DeLuxe® is best when enjoyed within a few days of arrival. With refrigeration, it can stay moist and easy-to-slice for two to three months. For longer storage, we suggest the freezer, up to one year.
To Slice: Without removing the foil liner, slice with a serrated knife using a sawing motion. Wipe blade with a wet cloth after each slice. Remove liner for serving. Slicing with the liner still in place yields consistent slices for a more attractive presentation.
 
How long does the DeLuxe® last?
      

Oh, about 10 minutes after its unwrapped? :)
Your cake is best enjoyed within a few days of arrival.  With refrigeration, it can stay moist and easy to slice for several months.  For longer storage, we suggest freezing.
Is the DeLuxe® Fruitcake only available at certain times of the year?
     The DeLuxe® Fruitcakes are always freshly baked and available year round.

  Due to the nature of our business, all of our products may come into contact with nuts, eggs, milk, wheat and soy. Thus, despite stringent cleaning procedures, cross contamination may occur.
 
  Misc.
  Our products are beautiful and delicious gourmet gifts of food.  Decorations, dishes etc. seen in photos may not be included, unless otherwise stated.   
 
  Quality designer tins and boxes are used to ensure perfect arrival of your baked goods.  This packaging may occasionally vary in appearance.
 
 

We usually do not add preservatives so store baked goods accordingly (instructions included inside packaging.)
