This option of getting the miniature DeLuxe® Fruitcake in four different delicious cakes to sample is simply this side of wonderful. I've always hated fruitcakes, but this is different. I love the fruitcakes from Collin Street Bakery. It has a very natural taste because of all the fruits and nuts. Other fruitcakes aren't much more than bread with a ton of sugar and other junk.

We have enjoyed Collin Street Bakery fruitcakes for many years now; it has become a tradition for us. Loved the addition of the mini-cake sampler. Wish it were possible to financially to get a large size of each kind, but the budget and the diet won't allow that! (sigh) Will have to be content with one regular and one set of minis. :)

For DECADES now I have enjoyed transforming fruit cake haters into Collin Street Bakery Pecan Cake lovers. My first convert was my husband over 30 years ago, and slowly but surely we've nudged many of his family members over to our way of thinking! His mother now can't wait to get her cake for Christmas. It's a gift that's always a hit although it never seems to last her more than a day or two. The challenge is getting people to try that first bite after years of being subjected to pretend fruit cakes...you know, the ones that are mostly dry cake filled with raisins and candied/sour peels. Who likes that anyway? In a stark contrast, your cakes are perfect and couldn't be improved upon if you tried!

My cousin and I had our little girls at the same time, around Christmas, several years ago. While at our Grandmother's Christmas visit, we were encouraged to take home the remainder of her fruitcake, so we split it. My cousin and I now both swear by this cake as a perfect food for nursing mothers.
